2009 marks the year of encountering for justalilhype! One of the questions many people would ask me whenever they see me regarding my work would be about the age of the magazine. Similar to many things in life, I think time plays an important factor in crafting a brand image or one’s reputation. Throughout the year, there were ups and downs but we were able to push in 12 full issues of extensive articles, covering the range of upcoming and established talents of our city. 2010 marks an important year for greater things to be accomplished by both justalilhype! and myself. As I step into the New Years in Hong Kong, under the Old City Hall building located at Central, along with a revamped Crew in Vancouver for 2010, it’s delightful to say that justalilhype! is officially one year old, and for myself: “I PUT ON FOR MY CITY”
