Bruce Lee – The Greatest in Kung Fu Films

Not too long ago I watched The Karate Kid and Ip Man 2. Both Kung Fu films but it’s really hard to find legit ones today. I really enjoyed Ip Man 2, the Kung Fu throughout the whole film was authentic and at the very end of the film, a young kid by the name of Bruce Lee seeks Ip Man to learn Kung Fu. The Karate Kid with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan was a good flick. Jaden proved himself to be a decent actor and Jackie spoke more, but the Kung Fu in the film sucked. Well, you couldn’t really expect much in a G-Rated Disney film but I really wished there were more legit Kung Fu films out there. Bruce Lee was the first to brought Kung Fu into Hollywood and it was a great start. All his film portrayed a solid performance of skills and training of the actual craft. Whereas actors today such as Jackie Chan or Jet Li portray themselves more of an entertainer. The Ong Bak series isn’t bad but nothing is even comparable to Bruce Lee’s charisma and personal philosophy.

Hit the jump for two videos of Bruce Lee. One is the audition that he went for, and the other about his philosophy of water.
