I saw Despicable Me in 3D last night and it an awesome movie! I think the plot was alright, but it was really the characters above that made the movie worth my time. The above are the minions of Dr.Gru. They live in the basement of his house and they are on his team. Dr.Gru is an evil villain so most of the time these guys help him steal. The really cool characteristics about these minions is that they don’t really speak English but they would mutter a few words here and there which I find really funny. They would also pull pranks on Dr.Gru from time to time. Other than that, the animation was done really well. There was a roller coaster scene that really made you feel like that you were on a ride. At the end of the film, the credits was fun. It was these minions trying to get out of the screen, and the 3D effect was utilized very well at this part. Last but not least, one of the main reasons on why I went to see the film was because sounds from the movie were all produced by Pharrell Williams. Not only did Pharrell created original songs that matched up various scenes of the movie well, the rest of the other background music throughout the film matched the tone correctly. Before watching the movie, get familar with the songs I’ve attached below and you are going to hear it all again throughout the movie. Make sure you see the 3D version, it’s much more worth while.
