Toronto Day 2 was pretty chill. Took the Toronto TCC Metro down to College Station to meet up with Jenkin. At noon, we met up with DJ Mensa for his interview and photoshoot. Overall cool guy and he does good mixes. Check out his Lazy Days mixtape here. Good joint to vibe to during the summer. He brought us to Play De Record, and introduced us to Eugene. Eugene started Play De Record in the 90s and have been running the store ever since. He’s got some big plans coming up to preserve his love of music and vinyls. Look forward to learn more from DJ Mensa and Eugene of Play De Record in the Toronto Editions of justalilhype! Also, remember the J.Dilla Donut Shop post I did awhile ago? Finally picked up the vinyl set that came with two slip mats today.
