Catching up with Ricardo
justalilhype! Crew visited Ricardo from Headquarters and caught up about the latest products that his boutique has to offer. After checking the store around, Christine got a backpack and Alan was about to cop a KAWS X Head Porter travel case, they were both very nice products that Headquarters have to offer. Headquarters carry a lot of cool toys and high end street culture fashion products, the latest included fragment T’s and more KAWS goodies. Also check out the 50% KAWS deal while your at it, and remember to take a glance at the latest Wonderwall X KAWS toy that is standing tall near the entrance of the store.
Happy Birthday SuperBored!
justalilhype! Crew dropped by at Brag Garden and Superbored Store today to say “Happy Birthday” to Tony Wong and Angela of WrongWroks. It’s their first store’s one year anniversary and they included special products to celebrate it’s one year mark. Our favourite design out of the collection includes the Golden “S” and “B” typography which underlines Superbored. We asked Angela about the SUPER VIP deal that they have to offer. We found out that in order to get that exclusive title, one must spend $1500 within a month, and surprisingly she told us there are actually a few customers that are already qualified for SUPER VIP. Wow! SUPER RICH.

Burgers with Hamburger Disco
Today, the justalilhype! Crew met up with Hamburger Disco and we had an epic dinner with them. They took us out to Splitz Grill, where the burgers are epic beyond measure. First of all, the legendary burger, single patty, is good enough to fill you up. But they have a triple stacker too! I wonder how these people possibly finish burgers like that. After a messy-as-fuck meal, we were all satisfied and plump. Now… we feel gross yet happy and we can’t breathe because of the burgers. Epic.
Catching up with dutil
justalilhype! crew caught up with our friends Eric and Darrin from dutil. Originally a plan to go cop new denim, the founders of the store suddenly walked into their own store. Eric showed us his favorite new additions of denim, which included Rogue Territory and Pure Blue Japan, as well as presenting us with presents from Oliver Peoples and Paul Smith.

What’s up Tony?
The justalilhype! Crew visited the owner and creator of WrongWroks, Tony Wong. It’s been a while since we last saw Tony, probably since we did the collaboration issue with him, and his Brag Garden store changed quite a bit since we last saw it – it seems to have gotten a lot more stuff! After a brief chat, Tony gave us a little gift: an empty yellow box. Super cool! We also finally picked up one of his old business cards. It’s official, we miss his old works.
What’s up Ryan?
justalilhype! Crew caught up with Ryan aka DJ Skinnydoh right after the BeatStreet Records interview. We caught up with him and talked about his 10-course semester, his views of promotors in Vancouver, and what he’s been up to lately while eating Korean food on Robson. Apparently, that night he spilled beer on his Macbook while DJing at Canvas and it turned off. Hopefully all your music files and school notes are backed up son!
