I personally have never been a fan of Apple. Their laptops are WAY overpriced; but for the most part I hate the people who defend this brand of electronics so intently (which really isn’t Apple’s fault). I have never had a friendly discussion about Apple products with someone who never pointed out any flaws with their iPhone or Macbook. For the most part, people are clueless. For example, most people don’t know that the iPod (except for the 1st generation models), including the iPod Touch (no it’s not called an iTouch) have a “feature” included that saves battery. This is good for some people as an iPod in general can last a very long time just playing music. But most people don’t know this “feature” hinders the sound quality of your songs. For me this is a big deal because I spend a considerable amount of buck into a nice pair of headphones, and I spend a lot of time making sure all my MP3’s are of the highest quality possible (well 320kbps is the minimum for me). Oh and if you’re wondering, I use a Sanza Fuze to listen to music, something that retails for half the price of an the cheapest iPod, has an equalizer, and utilizes the full potential of my $200+ headphones.

Eminem and the Vancouver Canucks…. need I say more?

I’ve heard news that the NoDo update is finally out here in Canada, specifically for Rogers with the Samsung Focus. Unfortunately I’m using an unlocked HD7 under the Rogers network and still don’t have the update. Frankie sent me a link from wpcentral where there was an easy way around this.

1. Start Zune
2. Turn off Data connection and Wifi on the Phone
3. Connect the Phone with the PC (USB)
4. Start the update search in Zune
5. About 3 seconds later, disconnect your PC from the internet (Turn WLAN off).
6. Zune finds NoDo-Update. Press OK.
7. Connect to the internet again and install the update.

It may take you several tries to get the timing right on step 5, depends on how fast your internet connection is. I had to time mine less than 3 seconds because it would instantly say my phone is up to date.

While writing this my phone is being updated as we speak! Thanks to Frankie for the info.

The newly announced Stussy X Marvel Comics collection is probably the most awesome but unlikely collaboration. The Stussy x Marvel Comics collection is a new joint effort from the two giant companies to produce some new apparel. The line will incorporate some of the most famous superheros into Stussy’s designs. According to F5 Refresh, there’ll be two separate release. The first one will see a variety of shirts and caps “that integrate Marvel imagery with Stussy font.” The second release will gather international artists who’ll pay tribute to their favorite characters by interpreting them with a personal touch.

The Stussy x Marvel Comics collection is set to be released at the end of April then at the end of May. I can’t wait for more previews. For now, we get some of these teaser images.
