The perception of the common cool to an outsider is often marred by the veil of lacy stockings worn by loud mouthed HYPE mans all over. The hardest thing for an outsider looking into a scene is deciphering the difficult code of what really is the common cool, removing the stockings for good. People who make the loudest noise may often try to set the standards for the population, but the population is far more massive than the HYPE man himself. Polling various people doesn’t really work either – you don’t know if there is they are sucking each others dick, making it a very biased opinion. Moreover, you really don’t know if you should just have plain trust in the person – you’re asking about something or someone from someone that you have no idea what their background is. Moreover, you have no clue whether the person you’re polling is on the same state of mind as you are. Where do you really turn to in this situation? The wealth of knowledge that they posses has only been harvested through years and years of residency, allowing them to hack through the dense bushes that get them to the juicy goodness that they’ve been waiting for. It takes a higher form of perception to understand and tactfully manipulative questioning in order to achieve the desired results. Even then, the legitimacy exists in extreme suspect status. When one reaches a certain level, their force powers have become master craft and just conversing with other individuals allows this person to perceive and accept the radiating HYPEness from the other individuals.
The perception of the common cool doesn’t need to be this difficult to decipher. Why are people spouting off about their own epicness? Why can’t these individuals think the same way that you do? The truth of the matter is that the uniqueness of your thought process is truly unparalleled. Your own perception of what is actually cool in a scene can never be told to you. There are over six billion people on this earth. How can you possibly think that someone else will have the same perception as you? One of the most important things to a human being is the curiosity of a human being. Travel to cater to your curiosity and only then will you truly figure out the common cool of a scene.
