One of the biggest challenges in the 20th century is the ability to distinguish the strength of individuals, and acknowledging the mastermind behind projects. Whether it is the success of a brand, a product, a movement or even an artist, people generally are unable to see the major players of the game. While icons, and celebrity figures do play a huge role in having their influence in popular culture, failure in recognizing the real trendsetters and leaders results in society with a lack of understanding and knowledge of what it means to drive something to success.

Behind each successful story, there are always people that are rarely seen in the public due to their respective roles and responsibilities. While the figure head or celebrity must perform in front of the public. Many times, the people who write the speeches for political leaders, and the people who produce beats are rarely applauded for their creativity and efforts. While some might argue that there is a place and time where they do get the shine, it is arguably quite unfair for these diligent people to not receive as much recognition as they should deserve.

The truth is that the people who work behind the scenes are extremely intelligent and modest. Often times, it is their choice to be unseen or unheard. These hard working people behind the scenes focus on one thing and that is to solely achieve success and accomplish their mission. While public figures need to be extremely careful about their appearance and actions, people behind the scenes have much more individual freedom to do whatever they would like to. They are not restricted to a certain type of brand identity or persona, which allows them to have more time to focus on plotting out strategies and plans to achieve goals, and most importantly to be truly creative.

I urge people to have a second-thought and pay closer attention to the people that they look up to. Apparent facts merely tell the public story, but it is often a team effort or intelligent masterminds that allows success in a product to happen. To be able to understand the essence of being part of any industry, you must be able to identity the major game players that are covered up behind the scenes.
